Paper Thoughts is an ongoing daily practice by artist Sarah Peters of Studio Braemar – a visual diary of words, drawings, and fragments of thought created each morning in a single sitting.
Each piece begins after a short meditation, allowing the mind to clear before ink meets paper. What follows is spontaneous and unfiltered – part letter, part sketch, part confession. The work captures a fleeting moment of emotion, curiosity, or reflection, preserving it in its rawest form.
No two pieces are planned, and none are corrected. Torn edges, smudges, and uneven lines are embraced as evidence of the process – reminders that beauty often lives in imperfection.
Every Paper Thought is a small act of honesty: a glimpse into what it means to make, to feel, and to let go.
