Case Studies

Cohorted

For Christmas 2020 Cohorted asked Studio Braemar to create a festive, winter illustration which would sit on the front of their Christmas Beauty Calendar. The illustration needed to be as beautiful and premium as the luxury products the calendar housed.

ghd

In 2021 ghd set up a popup hair salon at Wilderness festival. The team asked Studio Braemar to create a hair menu illustrating the four different hair looks which they’d be offering to festival-goers over the weekend.

Kenneth Green Associates

For Christmas 2021 Kenneth Green Associates asked Studio Braemar to create a Christmas logo and invitation for their luxury Christmas PR launch, as well as appearing live at the event to personalise gifts for their clients. During the event, Studio Braemar hand-painted the names and initials of the guests onto festive baubles to take away with them as a thoughtful and very personal gift from KGA.

Tropic Skincare

During winter of 2021 Tropic Skincare treated a number of their key influencers to a staycation. In the lead up to this event, Tropic asked Studio Braemar to hand-paint 30 pairs of wellies to brighten up the winter walks they’d be going on. Each pair of wellies had the influencer’s initials and was covered in the classic Tropic flowers. Each pair of boots was totally unique in design.

Studio Braemar was also invited to appear live at Tropic Headquarters while they gave tours to key influencers of their factory. Influencers were able to make their own shade of lipstick and bespoke body polish. Studio Braemar was then asked to personalise these bespoke products with influencer’s names and initials.

Brixton Village

Studio Braemar was asked to create a map for Brixton Village, illustrating a distinctive icon for each individual shop and restaurant, that would capture the culture and style of Brixton Village and Market Row. The map would go on to be used on their website, as well as in and around the Village.

Royal Academy of Engineers

Each year, The Royal Academy of Engineering run an Leaders in Innovation Fellowship programme which brings together emerging leaders who have an engineering-based innovation that has the potential to contribute to the social and economic development of their country. Studio Braemar works with engineers on the fellowship programme assisting them in their design needs. From technical drawings of prototypes of their innovations through to marketing and packaging illustrations.

Lalique

In 2021 Lalique’s White in Black fragrance for men was launched. The fragrance bottle was manufactured in matte black glass which you can write or draw on with a chalk pencil. The concept behind the launch was that each individual starts with the same raw material, but each individual will offer a unique interpretation. For it’s launch, Studio Braemar was asked to hand-paint the initials of 30 influencers in white onto the beautiful black glass of the bottle, as well as painting their names onto bookmarks.

Holland Cooper

Luxury British fashion brand, Holland Cooper, commissioned Studio Braemar to hand-paint magnums of champagne with a festive equestrian design and personalised message for each of their VIP’s as a special and personal Christmas gift. Studio Braemar worked with Holland Cooper to come up with a design which perfectly summed up the company and their premium, luxury products.

Stylist Magazine

As part of the redesign of their new website, Stylist Magazine asked Studio Braemar to create individual illustrations of their writers, which would feature on each article next to the authors name. Every illustration was totally personal to the individual, picking out favourite personality traits, fashion preference, colours and quirks to ensure each illustration was true to the author.

EL&N

For Valentines day EL&N Cafe asked Studio Braemar to appear live in their Marylebone store, hand-drawing couples as they spent their Valentine’s evening together. Couples could then take away their bespoke picture as a romantic gift from EL&N to them.
