In this series, Sarah removes the glass – breaking away from the frame’s role as protection – to ask what beauty becomes when it is left exposed. Beauty Holds Me Hostage is her first sculptural collection, a meditation on the tension between perfectionism and freedom, between being captivated by beauty and suffocated by it.
